Artist’s environmental piece displayed on downtown Great Falls parking garage

IN THE ELECTRIC CITY… THE URBAN ART PROJECT IS TURNING
TRASH IN TREASURES IN DOWNTOWN
GREAT FALLS THIS SUMMER. ELEVAN INSTALLATIONS HAVE TAKEN
OVER THE PARKING GARAGE ON FIRST
AVENUE SOUTH, TRANSFORMING ITS
BARREN WINDOWS INTO ARTISTIC
PIECES WITH PURPOSE. ONE ARTIST SAYS SHE USED HER
WINDOW TO SEND A MESSAGE. {IT’S PRETTY ENVIRONMENTAL. UM,
I, I JUST, I FEEL LIKE PLASTIC
IS KILLING OUR PLANET AND I
THINK THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE
AREN’T NECESSARILY AWARE OF THE
IMPACT THAT IT’S HAVING. SO, IT’S JUST THAT, IT WAS A REALLY
GOOD WAY FOR ME TO BE ABLE TO UM
TRY TO BRING SOME KIND OF
AWARENESS}
MEGHAN’S PIECE – AS WELL WORK
FROM OTHER ARTISTS – WILL BE ON DISPLAY AT THE SOUTH PARKING
GARAGE FROM NOW UNTIL SEPTEMBER
5-TH
