hello and welcome to this video tutorial
on how to draw your property boundary i’m going to show you how to draw the
property to make sure you get the right information in your mining report to do
this you will need a desktop or a laptop computer if you are using a laptop it
will be easy to draw with the mouse rather than a touch pad as you can see
a map screen has opened showing the property location marked with the red
circle you will notice a yellow circle follows your cursor we are going to draw
the legal boundary of the property including the front and back gardens at
the top left hand corner of the screen there is a tool to help you move around
the screen with arrows to move around and a bar to zoom in and out to make
sure we get the drawing as exact as possible zoom in to where you want to start
drawing place your cursor on the edge of the boundary and click once release your
finger from the mouse and move your cursor away you have now started to draw
your boundary a yellow line will mark out the boundary as you continue click
at each corner of the boundary keep the yellow line as close as possible to the
boundary and this will make sure that the information in your mining report is
as accurate as possible and don’t forget to include the front and back gardens don’t worry too much if you click too
far inside or outside the boundary we will show you how to edit this soon when
you’ve completed the boundary double click to finish make sure your clicks
are still on the edge of the boundary the boundary will now turn blue and you
can move your cursor away you’ll see that the next button at the bottom right
hand corner of the screen has turned blue if you are happy with the boundary click
this button if the boundary is not quite right you can edit it here you can see that
the line we have drawn does not quite match the legal boundary look at the top
right hand corner of the map screen there’s a tool called the Digiright map widget move your
cursor over the map widget this will open the tool and you can see
the available options click on the edit option now move your cursor to the edge
of the blue boundary and click you’ll notice blue and yellow circles appear
along the edge click and drag these circles to change the boundary the
yellow circles show points where you click your mouse when you drew the
boundary and blue circles are points that you can add now that you are
editing when you are happy with the boundary click on the map screen on the
boundary edge the circles will disappear and your changes will be saved- that edge
is much better- now click the blue next button if you have any further questions
