Disney’s Art of Animation FULL Resort and Room tour!

hey everybody welcome back we’re here
today at the Art of Animation to do a resort and room tour and we’re going to
start out here at the very front entrance this is where you come in and
head straight into the main lobby right here over this way is where all the bus
stations are you can see the artwork here is so awesome we just walk over and show you some of
the artwork Nimmo each of these pictures represent
the different room types that they offer Ryan King family suite the Nemo family
suite they have the Little Mermaid standard rooms and then they also have
the car Suites walking into the main lobby off to the right is the bellhop
service they call it luggage assistance in airline check-in a little niggles
where little kids can or adults can learn how to jog Nemo and they’ll
feature drawings up in the lobby during the back when you walk in you’re greeted
by a wall of sketches that start at the basic sketching and then as you walk down the hall it
goes into the progression of the animation process off to our left we
have a little area waiting area where they’re playing movies for kids and then here is guest check-ins I
highly recommend using the online check-in this is the line for people who don’t
use online check-in and it is so long we always always always use online chat so
definitely if you’re staying at a Disney Resort I suggest you use the online
check-in it saves you tons of time and you can make all of your changes on
there that you actually mean coming up to the middle of the main lobby straight
ahead is the gift shop and then through the gift shop is the foodcourt Club
landscape of flavors standing in the middle of the lobby if you look up you can see they’re a bunch of artists
painting if you turn left you’ll find the walkway to the transportation so the
buses to the parks will be right here turning back around
they have fax machine copy machine also an ATM and a fuel rod station computer
access phone cards and you can also mail out your letters
from the Disney park here going to head into the gift shop first before we go
out into the resort area this is a run Disney weekend so you’ll see everybody
walking around with metal it’s a fairly large gift shop with all the normal
Disney Resort gift shop items things you find in the park so if there’s anything
you missed in the parks and you wanted to get it you can get it here any items
you might have forgotten on your trip grab them here and then all your son Drazen snacks as
well with sucker for Disney months this is
where the transportation area is as well they have a selection of wine and liquor
behind the register all the new briar rose gold items on the other side is all the plushies
and kids toys it’s like the kid section on the other side of the gift shop
leaving a gift shop going into food port you see it’s very busy I apologize for
the noise level plenty of seating trust any machines when you walk in the
fillable mug station over here and also a microwave toaster all the
staples that you might need I love the premium
all around that beautiful honey machine you see here these are art animation
specific and we’ll show you on the food court
so turning in will start at the left they have a wall of cereal a bunch of
grab-and-go options and these are families we resort so they
have microwave and large refrigerators and things like that inside of most of
the rooms here’s our pastries Alfred juices here and bowls and gelato
expresso this is where you’ll pick up your drinks
have been making waffles a over here eggs hash browns very unique offerings
here a vegetarian breakfast sandwich with naan bread cauliflower spinach and
pin Ameer cheese that’s really unique I’ve never seen anything like that
before you can get all your drinks over here
they also offer wines and beers juices they have a create your own omelet
station or you can pick from the kind that they have doesn’t have a vegan seat
and scramble I haven’t seen any vegan options lately they have fried steak
platter pancakes chocolate chips saw all your
breakfast options would be doing and here are all the checkout we’re going to unspool in there and over here you have more of condiment station the rapid refill of
coffee and then if you go that’s out to the big
blue pool but we’re gonna go back into the lobby still coming back out through
the gift shop into the main lobby that’s where the transportation is
there’s check-in and we’re gonna turn this way animation on there it looks like water
paint and then we have the arcade the clicks of play arcade and they have a
special at this resort half-point happy hour Wednesdays and Thursdays 1/2 points
so the the games only cost half the price from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. on
Wednesdays and Thursdays 2:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 7:00 sorry it’s gonna be loud in here we’re
just gonna do a lap through and see what they have and your surprises for the arcade cards
as I said in my last video the magical value is your best bet it’s $25 and you
just get the most bang for your buck you can reuse it you can use at any of the
resort this is a pretty large arcade cueball basketball all the way in the
back arkaid is kind of like deja vu for me it
reminds me up exactly what the arcade looks like in the pop century Fun Fest
all right coming around we’re going out of the arcade in the lobby to straight ahead is the big blue pool this
is their main pool there is no water fly it’s one of the largest pools on
property you see it’s pretty busy it’s early but
it’s hot here you have the recreation activities
calendar you have movies under the stars doesn’t
say where that’s located and then you’re the every day they have their different
things going on at different so make sure you keep an eye out when
you’re having a resort day over here going right out of the lobby is the
drop-off pool bar it’s not open yet I think it opens at 11:00 and they offer snacks and drinks and
they also have a rapid refill station over here so if you’re at the pool you
can just scoot over to the drop-off pool bar and use your rapid refill mug and
we’re going to head into Radiator Springs the cars themed area these are
all family suites if you have a resort maps around so you can see where you’re
at and what’s offered to get to where you need to be so tons of good little photo ops all
through here and it feels like you just walked into another place like you just
changed resorts the theming here is stunned so well looks like he had just been painted
Rusty’s we got a car down car down so yeah you really feel like you’re
submersed in the cars moving spinning cozy cone motel sign child hiding
underneath the car only acceptable and Disney we go in through the cozy cone
pool area it’s seem like the cozy cone motel in the movie these bathrooms this is really fun because there’s like
little cabañas that are shaped like cones but you don’t have to pay anything
to use them you just have to be the first one there in the morning they
offer towels at all the pools so you don’t need to bring your own this
property has four different themed areas three of the four are all family suites
which offer a separate master bedroom and bathroom a pull-out couch and a
table pulls down into a bed as well with a separate bathroom so two bathrooms
three beds a microwave frigerator sink that offers a lot of space only one that
doesn’t is the Little Mermaid rooms those are standard double rooms really
fun theming so this is this is building two if that’s where you want to request
to be we’re gonna make our way out of the cars
area and go into the Finding Nemo area coming back from Radiator Springs we’re
coming back across from where the pool bar is which is now open from 11 a.m.
till 9 p.m. we’re gonna come around the big pool the pool hours are 9:00 to
11:00 weather permitting we’re gonna go around the pool the seagulls up top on
the staircase be careful cuz they scream mine mine
mine when you walk by and scared the bejesus out of me we have a pool party
over there over there is mr. ray going into building five in the NEEMO
building so you can see that all our family suites are like this inside
always whereas The Little Mermaid ones are all outside they do have elevators
and then on the outside there are the stairwells and then there is centrally
located ice and vending machines we write down this ways where our room was Flores themed like the EAC and all like
pictures have a little look like little seashells
we got room number 5 5 to 1 in the finding email family suites do it all
right here we go all right so right here we have seating for four flip two side
tables outlets on one side this is a pulldown full-sized bed that’s in all
the family suites walk-in right in you have our first bathroom honey it’s
Oliver toiletries we got soap and shampoo and conditioner there’s a
hairdryer some towels the mirrors seem to porthole and then this bathroom has
Bruce and I can’t remember the other guy’s name just a nice tiled bathroom very nice and
new and clean with the full-size mirror the floor is themed like the ocean and
then we have our little kitchen that there’s a microwave disposable plates
glasses they stack you up with disposable silverware coffee maker
that’s really nice to have a sink in here under the sink there is a paper
towel and a fire extinguisher and then we had pretty good size larger than the
normal ones in the moderate and the value resorts but it doesn’t feel very
cold so I don’t know if there’s says it’s on coldest hmm they recycle and
trash can in one this is the living area Nemo themed and anemones themed lamp
this is a pull-out sleeper sofa and I pulled up into a full-size bed lounge
chair over here see what our view is like in this room
okay super brave this is the other side of the Nemo building then on the other
side of that building is where the big blue pool is nice flat-screen TV here we
have all the inputs and plugs if you bring a gaming system or whatever else
you want to do with that and and a whole bunch of storage that’s max
for pillows a place to hang your garments extra blankets for the pullout
sleeper and coming in here is the room that has a door this is a queen-size bed
with two side tables and another TV with also all the inputs and electrical plugs
and also the same amount of drawers knock here is another area for hanging
your garments your iron and ironing board your safe a place to store your
suitcase and then we have the master bath which also has the porthole themed
mirror and another set of the toiletries I think because this is an upgraded
suite that you they don’t have the reusable shower toiletries some hooks
standing your towels another full-size mirror on the back of the master bath
and this is just a shower not a tub in the master balance with another four
towels this room sleeps six comfortably so two in this room and then we have two
for the pullout and two for the couch sleeper beds a little bubble theme
lights Luke and I thought this looked like a
box of french fries with an emo hanging out of it or Marlin
that looks like french fries right yeah that’s what I think all right going back
further so the Nemo section is these two
buildings on the left and the right surrounding the big blue pool behind the
big blue pool we have the little play area design like a little coral reef sad fish here you’ll see the Skyliner
station that should be done this fall they’re really coming around with it too
and right across the lake this is where the entrance will be for the Skyliner
station let’s see if we can take a peek across the lake is the top century right here is the entrance to the
skyliner station and also the walkway to pop century so it’s right there pretty
close alright coming back around we’re gonna
make our way to the Lion King section this property is quite large so be
prepared for that as I said in my videos before we regularly use terrine plans
calm to choose our rooms this time we had a reservation for the Little Mermaid
room and on our way here they called us and offered a complimentary upgrade into
any of the family suites so the room I picked for the Little Mermaid room was
cancelled out and we just got a family suite instead so obviously I chose the
Little Nemo room and it was just really cool it’s that little sprinkle of Disney
magic like that’s why we love Disney so much because you never know when you
might get a little sprinkle of pixie dust and they’ll surprise you
so don’t underestimate Disney they’ll they’ll surprise you and you’ll you’ll
never see it coming they were coming up to the Lion King
section just gonna take this walkway back up so I can show you the main
walkway in to the Lion King section and go straight through it and then into the
Little Mermaid section we’re gonna walk in the right up here you know we’re greeted by Rafiq you
walking in to the Lion King section Pride Rock we really feel like again
transported like you’re in the Serengeti here jungles all the foliage everywhere we have to moaning too much bad for Simba if anybody knows boomba
whoo that’s not the look you should have on his face there’s another photo op
with the new scar good photo ops through all the sections and straight through the Lion King
section we will come up to the Little Mermaid section which again is the only
buildings the only section on this property that is a standard room all the
rest are family suites they have two queen beds and one bathroom I really was
looking forward to staying in the Little Mermaid section because of the theming I
love The Little Mermaid beam up into the Little Mermaid section and see we have
King Triton over here building over here a dinglehopper I don’t remember what she
called that it’s a pipe but what did she call it even the comments below
what is that in Little Mermaid’s world gallant statue of Prince Erik looking
awfully dashing what a prince and as I mentioned before all the buildings over
here have the outside entrances because they are the standard rooms
unlike the family suites she is massive that is a massive octopus gonna come
around here but look Sebastian and we’re gonna show you the pool this is
considered one of the quiet pools since it’s not the main pool there is still a
lifeguard plenty of seating it’s prime time now it’s like noon and there’s
plenty of seats here so the main pool is too busy
I suggest coming down here there’s towels for you to use so you don’t need
to bring those once again and also like this for your little ones The Little
Mermaid building is straight ahead these buildings are so massive so overall we really love this resort I
look forward to coming back here again so much to see so much do I wish we
could have spent more time at the resort there is also a $13 parking fee per day
that is the price for the value resorts moderate is 19 and I believe Deluxe is
24 so it goes up $5 each time for the parking per night but if you’re thinking
about coming here I suggest it I think it’s great especially for people with
families groups of families coming here the kids will love it is so immersive
and all the classic kid favorite it’s in my favorite adult favorite Little
Mermaid’s one of my classic favorites Lion King absolutely stay here you will
enjoy it so much and I don’t think that staying in a Little Mermaid room would
really be any less enjoyable than staying and the family suite the family
suite definitely has its perks having a microwave and the big refrigerator just
more space too so you don’t have to be right next to everybody in your family
which you know being in tight quarters for a few days can get to you thanks for
joining me on this resort tour I hope you subscribe like this video and stay
tuned for more resort tours coming your way
have a magical day
