Futurism and ABSTRACT ART | Art in the Blink of an Eye (4)

hi everyone I’m Virginia and welcome back on culture with my channel where we talk about art marketing and so much more I’m super excited for this episode because finally we’re back here with art in the blink of an eye after a super long pause actually not that long could be worse but yeah and I’m super excited for this video in particular because well I keep on watching you’ll know why if you don’t remember my last video I’ll link it up here because I was the first one not to remember what I feel lost so don’t worry you’re not the only ones so where were we we were talking about Picasso cubism and everything that is happening in the first decades of the 20th century and so today we’re talking about another really important art movement of that period which is food tourism so food tourism started with modernity he was an Egyptian guy who moves to Milan and he was convinced that Italy needed to have its own modern art movement and so he created one he was a person very full of himself that’s why he thought I will invent the first Italian modern movement since the start it was a very political movement America managed to have the manifesto published on the figure or in Paris and from that moment on the entire Europe was like shocked by by what he wrote because it was very very energetic maybe too energetic so Marietta was sure that Italian water art was blocked by the weight of the old golden age that Italy had for our during Roman times and during the Renaissance and so he was convinced that Italy had to forget about all of this and he’d have to try and create a new modern art movement and everyone was pretty shocked by what he wrote in the manifesto because he used to preach his convictions through a really strong militarism through a British strong patriotism for his country through what he called a destructive act of liberation from a patent from the past towards a modern future and it is also for this reason that in the decades that followed future is always really strongly connected to fascism our virtuous artists include caribou Tony Severini Marla and they’re all trying to portray the dynamism of modern life and it is for this reason that they usually presented subjects that were either moving or they usually represented machines such as trains to give the idea of dynamism of progress of a new life that was given by the future by modernism and another thing is that futurism was also defined as the cubism of speed and that is because they used to use the same analytical structure that was used in curved ISM but this time to give the idea of movement and for once Italy managed to have a modern art movement that was also known in Europe but mainly because of money anything his really strong personality even if at the same time food tourism also influenced some of the new art movements that were growing those ers such as orphism in France and virtus ISM in the UK now are you ready do you for anything that you’ve ready because for this we need two different because now with fridge finally the point everyone was waiting for I was really looking forward to because this one is like the revolution we have reached the point of abstract art and this is so so important because every single movement that we seen up to this point every single generation of artists that we’ve seen they were gradually using less and less visual informations in their painting after this point up to contains game and his abstract art and this is the moment where you start seeing my 5 years old could have done that and this is not true that’s why the sauce here is that’s why I’m here telling you about all is our movement and all these artists simply because there was Impressionism that was for vism there was coop ISM and then we go to abstract art this painting has been painted like this because of all the generation of artists that came before Kandinsky it was a decade’s long process so maybe you’re five years old could have done that because of the simple shapes but at the same time you wouldn’t be hurt and to talk more about this topic like what is art what is contemporary art and things like that I’ll link up here the video that I published about contemporary art and it’s a video that I really love so please can come and check it out if you haven’t already now let’s go back to Kandinsky so Kandinsky established himself as one of the avant-garde artists of Germany during the 20th century it was actually from Russia that he moved to Munich to study apart from RTF really really loves music and this is one of the main characteristic of his art he wanted to create visual some escapes and that means that he wanted to make the viewers hear the sound of colours which may seem a bit strange but well and to reach this goal he started removing from his paintings every single reference to the real world that’s why you see a painting of candies painted like this because he thought that subjects could distract the viewer from the sound of colours from focusing on colors so Kandinsky started with something like this which is actually not really abstract art because the blue thing in the middle is a tree then there is a red field there is a sky in the Rays of rainbow along the way he painted something like this which is his first abstract painting he also started a series of paintings that was probably one of his most famous series that’s called compositions and to answer his need to find and to create paintings that could have the same scale and the same structure of a symphony and creating his series he realized that the only other kind of art that could be compared to music was Astrid art he also sought out his own Club together with other artists the name of this club was the blue rider blue because of their conviction that the color blue was a really spiritual color while rider because they associated the nature the primitive nature of the horse with their own need of freedom and adventure in the car that was also quickly Buckley is another really important artist of those years who also believed in abstraction and who believed that art wasn’t there to produce the visible rather to make life visible and before coming to dangerous one really quick or disable poetry which made me laugh a lot I hope you love too so hopefully when he used to paint was never actually sure what he was going to paint and he used to say that he was going to take a line for a walk and that of course after he draw what he wanted to draw apparently he used to feel the shape same with color and that was the painting so this is all for today just as a quick recap we talked about futurism we talked about Kandinsky and finally abstract art really happy body I hope you have enjoyed it if you did please share this video first Buddha like and then share it with your friends or with whoever you think could benefit from it also remember to follow me on social media on
