Hidden London: Guildhall Art Gallery

Just a few minutes’ walk away from Barbican and Moorgate station in London you’ll find the Guildhall Art Gallery I would recommend it because it’s not very famous and it’s not usually on the tourist maps so if you are in the City I would recommend having a look around Hi my name is Paola, welcome to my channel I’ll show you around the Guildhall Art Gallery (music) We are interrupting the current programme to announce that some Olympic games are going on in the Roman amphitheatre which can be found in the basement of Guildhall Alongside the Victorian art displayed at Guildhall Art Gallery you can also find a Roman amphitheatre this makes this venue completely unique in London The sponsor of the game was called the Editor The Editor would look around the arena and the gladiator was about to be speared for his life or not with the “pollice verso”, the twist of the thumb and he would get the view of the crowd (music) I recommend this gallery if you enjoy art it’s free entry as well and you can see some amazing paintings from Pre-Raphaelites and other Victorian artists I hope you enjoyed this video please give it a thumbs up (POLLICE VERSO!) and share it with your friends
