HOW TO PAINT LARGE ABSTRACT ART Interior Design Art Lessons

Welcome to Art Fusion. Today I’m creating
an artwork that’s full of colour. As you can see, I’ve already applied some texture medium
to create a design which is a musical theme. And we’re gonna load this up with multiple
colours to create a really interesting artwork. So stay around, and we’ll get started. Now
the texture medium that I’ve used is one that I’ve created myself. Um, it’s a mixture of
plaster and paint, and once it’s set, it’s there permanently and you can work very freely
on your canvas, ah, to colour and create whatever you like to do with the texture and style
that you created in. [music]>>GLENN: Well here we have the finished artwork.
I call it ‘The Colours of Music’. You notice how everything really is vibrant and pops
out off the canvas. This has helped been created by the texture work underneath and creating
a theme. Here, your musical notes. And if you look at the texture work, you’ll notice
that, on the texture work, I’ve actually highlighted the texture work in black. All the bars, everywhere
in the texture is, is highlighted in black. That helps to lift, and-the canvas, and pop
it out to you. It highlights the colours, and without that highlight, the artwork would
look quite flat. So you can put any theme you like, but that is what is the secret to
make something that really does come alive. So I hope that’s helped you, if you’d like
to know more about this type of artwork, or any other artwork you might create, just jump
on the website, www.artfusionproductions.com.au, and you’ll find all sorts of interesting things
there to see and have a go at creating. So I hope that’s been of some help. And thank
you, and happy painting.
