Installing Laravel 5.2 on windows with WAMP using Composer 2016 - Easiest way!

this video I'm going to be showing you how to install and setup laravel framework will set up a sample project so I'm going to go to laravel comm laravel comm and I'm going to click on the documentation tab and if I scroll through down I get something called as a link to a composer so this is like a dependency with which laravel runs on so without composer laravel does not work so we've got to install composer first so i'm going to go to the composer so it's basically located at get composer dot org and if I click on download and download decomposer setup dot exe so it's asking me where to download let me just download it at my desktop and it's over now if I click on the setup file so it's you know let's run the setup file composer setup and for this to work you know composer requires a running installation of PHP so I would recommend you to install WAMP server first WAMP server you can just go to a WAMP server download download for Windows and I you you give whatever version you want and you'll be able to get the one server setup done so here we have vamp server and click on start using web server and then you can choose whichever version you would want to use so you know – a 64-bit and I've already installed web server so I'm not going to install web server again once you your web server is installed you've got to locate to the PHP dot exe file which is in the vamp server so I'm going to click on browse and I've installed my Wham on my E Drive so let me just uh navigate to the location wherever I have installed Wham so it's in the bin folder PHP PHP five-point the version of the PHP and then PHP dot exe file and if I click on next so it's asking me to use any proxy server so I mean proxy server I don't want so I'll just click on next and if I click on install so the composer will install because look i've already installed composer it's telling me this and if i click on next so here is my Campello a composer setup getting done if i click on finish the composer setup is done so let me just close this out and how do I know if but if the composer setup is properly installed let me just go to my command prompt and type composer so if it's providing the you know list of commands that means that the composer is properly set up so here is the composer setup being done after this it's it's pretty simple you've just got to go to the www folder of the vamps server so let me just go – w-w-w-whoa which basically /y I'm forward slash www and here is the www folder and now let me just install the laravel framework so installing laravel framework is pretty simple so I have you know if I just go there here composer create project prefer destination laravel slash laravel blog if I just copy this and let me just for a moment paste it here and give the name whatever you want so if I just give it as I test project now laravel is going to get installed inside the test project folder which would be located inside the www folder so let me just show it to you for a second so I just copy this and then I'm going to paste it if I click on enter it would take some time for laravel to get installed meanwhile if we have a look at my www folder here is my www folder I have one two three all these projects already existing now let me just wait for it to get started and then okay so here is the final setup done it's a is application key and it should show the application key if your installation is successful now let's just go to the test project folder test project CD test project and then I'll just issue PHP artisan SC RVE PHP artisan serve command now if I do that it should give me a port number so if I just go to localhost 8,000 8,000 look it shows larval fie is running now for this to work be aware that vamp should be running let me just turn on my vamp silver so one server it's got to go to a green icon where it starts online yeah so now it says the server is online now if you can look at it larval fie is up and running so this is the easiest way to install laravel framework in your PC in the next video let us see how we can proceed with larval

    use stereo recording, or is it your screen recorder setup. I'm only hearing you on left ear… it's annoying… however you seem to have a good content.

    C:wampwwwlaravel>composer create-project –prefer-dist laravel/laravel netservice
    You are running composer with xdebug enabled. This has a major impact on runtime performance. See https://getcomposer.org/xdebug
    Your version of PHP, 5.3.4, is affected by CVE-2013-6420 and cannot safely perform certificate validation, we strongly suggest you upgrade.
    Installing laravel/laravel (v5.0.22)
    – Installing laravel/laravel (v5.0.22): Loading from cache
    Created project in netservice
    Loading composer repositories with package information
    Installing dependencies (including require-dev) from lock file
    Your requirements could not be resolved to an installable set of packages.

    Problem 1
    – Installation request for jeremeamia/superclosure 2.1.0 -> satisfiable by jeremeamia/SuperClosure[2.1.0].
    – jeremeamia/SuperClosure 2.1.0 requires php >=5.4 -> your PHP version (5.3.4) does not satisfy that requirement.
    Problem 2
    – Installation request for laravel/framework v5.0.16 -> satisfiable by laravel/framework[v5.0.16].
    – laravel/framework v5.0.16 requires ext-mcrypt * -> the requested PHP extension mcrypt is missing from your system.
    Problem 3
    – Installation request for league/flysystem 1.0.2 -> satisfiable by league/flysystem[1.0.2].
    – league/flysystem 1.0.2 requires php >=5.4.0 -> your PHP version (5.3.4) does not satisfy that requirement.

    To enable extensions, verify that they are enabled in your .ini files:
    – C:wampbinphpphp5.3.4php.ini
    You can also run `php –ini` inside terminal to see which files are used by PHP in CLI mode.

    How to fix this problem ?

    I had already downloaded and installed PHP 7.1.8 and composer before watching this video, and when i type "composer" in the cmd, it shows whatever is shown on your cmd so I guess composer is correctly installed. The only question I have is, do I need to install wamp too??? My purpose is to create a basic todo list application in laravel. Do I need to install wamp ?
    please help.
