Excellent  video Susan – i'm a fellow wood sculptor here in sunny Puerto Rico. I work mainly in mahogany, Spanish cedar, oak and the all time favorite walnut. I believe a carving studios should be designed and tailored along with the user personality. Your studio shows just that. Your studio is you. Many carver have studios that don't reflect who they are. They carved because they are asked. I carved because I want to! I grew up in New Jersey and I remember carving simple walking sticks thru those long winters there. You being in Maine you understand that perfectly. When in the Caribbean give us a call .My wife Mary and I love to accommodate snowbirds !

For the time being, I do think that Woody Hyezmar is yet giving his Woodworking Bible to those who are interested. Just though I’d mention it.
