STEM Week 2018 – Guelph Civic Museum


Hello, I’m Orbax from the Department of Physics at the University of Guelph and I’m hoping you’ll be joining us in November at the Guelph Civic Museum for STEM week! STEM week is a full week of programming developed by students here at the Physics Department at the University of Guelph Our students and faculty will be hosting a session of interactive STEM activities and showcase exhibits all tied to the current Ontario curriculum. Grade 6 students will learn about topics such as biodiversity… The mechanics of flight! The physics of space exploration and astronomy! *bad rocket noises* As well as electricity and electrical devices. Participants will experience three different fun and educational activities designed by current undergraduate students in the Department of Physics All while interacting one-on-one with professors, lecturers and graduate student volunteers. This week will be full of activities that are interactive educational and most importantly fun! We’ll see you in November! Oh
