Summer NAMM 2019: Boss SY-1 Synthesizer & Nextone Artist Version 2 Demos

alright hey everybody's Jason Shadrach with premiere guitar we're at the the summer NAMM show in Nashville we're at the boss booth with Austin here and we're gonna be looking at one of you guys new compact pedals the sy one since now I know we already know there's way more in this pedal that we could possibly get through in a single video so we're just going to hit some of the highlights so tell us a little bit about you guys new synthesis synthesizer so so some of the big things that are really great about it is that when it's fully polyphonic so I could do full chords it also is zero latency and it also works for guitar and or bass there's a switch on the back that can allow you to change between the two instruments there's eleven different types of synths and there are eleven variations for each giving you a total of about 121 different sounds in total you have some filter controls you also have some depth controls you can also blend in the clean sound alone with those synth sounds too so you can get a little bit of that nicer sound you can also press and hold on the sy1 and it gives you a sound hole kind of like what I was doing before but I can still play on top of it so what was the name of the sound we were just hearing there in the intro so that's one of the organ variations that are on there I'll go ahead and show you a couple of the other cooler sounds it was really good at bass so go here great bass tones then some of the other fun sounds you can get some pad sounds which is actually really great for the sound hold feature change the sound of the hold you just simply lift off and press for a new cord some of the other fun ones I really like also is some of the lead sounds really really nice and thick again fully polyphonic yeah that's pretty much that's why one for you guys so what will be pricing and availability on the sy one sy one will be available this month and the pricing is gonna be $1.99 so we're gonna take a break and we're gonna get Adam up here we're gonna talk about the new updates to the next tone amp so thank you so much Austin thank you Jason alright so here we are now with Adam and we are going to be talking Adam about the new updates for the next tone amp so I know you dial up a couple sounds why don't you give us one of the sounds you dialed up and let's talk through it so tell us a little bit about what was going on in that sound so that sound out in kind of a British kind of overdrive sound may be along the lines of a marshal or orange I noticed you have a laptop up here which is hooked into the the next stone amp right so tell us a little bit about the updates that you guys are bringing out with this new on this new update okay so basically with the v2 update the version to the next tone editor you hook it up to the amp via USB and you can change you can change each tube from a v6 v6 to 6l6 the el84 to yield 34 so on that last tone I had a el84 – yeah let's let's play around see what other kind of sounds we can get out of this so for this one I'll go to a clean six out six – so what will be kind of the pricing and availability on this new update so for the artists at six $99.99 and for the stage is for $99.99 so the the artist is at 80 watt version and the stage is a forty one and these will be available soon yeah they're already out so you're good to go so let's let's to help another sound and have you place out that's when I've got kind of a country slap back all right well this is Jason Shadrach with a premier guitar and Adams gonna play us out go ahead you
