United — Her Art Here: The Winners

United — Her Art Here: The Winners

I did not think that I would see this
massive plane that is going to have my art on it.
It’s crazy and unbelievable. I feel really grateful for this
chance to show my art on the airplane. My name is Corinne Antonelli. I happily just finished my
sophomore year of college. I want to evoke emotion. I want people to experience my
art rather than just viewing it. My name is Tsungwei Moo.
I’m from Taiwan. I always wanted to be an artist, so I quit my job and I
came to the United States. The diversity in San Francisco
inspires my work. Did you ever imagine your
work at a scale like this? I’m trying to picture the design on there
and it’s just like almost impossible at this scale. I love for you just to talk us through
your design and what it means to you. I wanted to incorporate the sleekness of
the city versus the more organic forms of the countryside,
which is where I’m from in New Jersey. I feel like I want to show people
California when they first see it. Most people,
they travel for vacation, so I wanted to put on the sunglasses. This is a huge opportunity and you’re
going to be able to inspire other people. Take full advantage of it,
because I feel like this is the beginning. But, this is almost like a catalyst as well. [music playing]
