Hello everybody? ART JACK Channel Jack Kim The weather is getting cold. Today, I would like to talk about four things to be careful when drawing snow scenes, which are winter flowers. If you are wondering how, please watch the end.
Please leave a free subscription, likes and questions. First, the masking fluid method is effective for drawing snow on tree branches in winter.
When you apply the masking liquid, you will use the pink dye here. The original masking liquid is white or light blue and does not appear well on the screen.
In this picture, I wore a little bit of dark red when I painted the masking liquid. As you can see it looks pink.
Mix well. I’m drawing a view on the screen right now.
After far enough to paint, Apply light gray and light blue before the water dries.
At this time, it is natural to draw quickly. It’s also a good idea to add paint that you need to use to keep the water dry. The masking method is explained next.
When I apply the masking liquid, I should draw 20-30% thinner than the thickness I should draw. The reason is that the masking liquid is painted thicker than you think.
If the thick branches cover the sky, it becomes frustrating. But it is not so snow to paint thinly. You need to practice your usual things.
In a fast stroke, By reducing the time masking fluid stays on the ground
Take advantage of thinner tips. Pruning is done with a long thin brush as you can see.
The thicker the center of the tree, the thinner it will spread out. We are drawing a branch under the masked branch.
As you know, the masked place will be a snow covered branch, Because underneath it will be an unheated twig. Then draw the twigs with a thinner brush now.
Snow does not accumulate on thin branches. So I don’t mask.
You can draw freely. Do not draw too much.
Now remove the masking of the branches If you have thick masking, it’s time to make it thinner.
In this way, you arrange the branches. It became a neat twig. How to draw a winter landscape The second way.
Now I’m drawing eyes on thick branches. After painting first, before the water dries,
Wet in wet technique, that is, wet spreading effect. Give it a natural gradient.
At this time, the combination of colors is based on ultramarine and sepia. The color of the snow varies depending on the artist. A while ago I told you to use the color of the snow as the base for Ultramarine and Sepia. If you’re feeling colder here, ultramarine, If you feel warm, mix in sepia Also, if you change the color, add a little more purple. Looking at the snow scenes of various artists, each artist expresses his snow slightly differently. It also changes more and more depending on the environment of the snow, that is, the weather and the time of day. Therefore, the way I express it is not a standard.
In fact, in my channel, which I drew last year, I have a snow scene in purple. Aside from this, my Master who taught me drew snow mainly in ultramarine and purple.
I remember drawing very cold and cool. But I was so cold that I painted a little sepia.
But other writers painted almost gray. The choice is your nail. Now let’s introduce the third method.
The trick is to “draw snow first and then draw around”. The reason for drawing snow first is the basics of watercolors,
Like drawing light colors first, then dark colors If you draw bright snow first and draw dark branches later, it becomes neat expression.
If you draw dark branches first and bright snow later, Especially when painting with water and painting It is hard to express neat, clear snow with neighboring colors. Subsequently, draw the shadows at once.
When you paint the shadow younger, it doesn’t look like a shadow. It looks as if it’s stained and doesn’t become a refreshing shadow.
However, it is difficult for beginners to have this kind of heart. When I was a beginner, I wondered how those who draw well do it all at once.
Try your mind like this. “Once good, once bad” Do you have to draw with a paintbrush to paint at once? Watercolor is difficult because of this aspect. However, the effect of the water splatters has the charm of irresistible, which makes me unable to leave the water with the charm of watercolor. So we introduced 4 methods. The video after this has a succinct representation of the methods discussed above and a closing process. Today’s voice lecture is over, but the process of realization is even more important. Please see to the end. And there’s a second scene where you don’t paint your eyes first. This is a step to match the tone Think of it as a different process dimension.
Of course, I missed something by mistake. And my channel surpassed 10,000 subscribers
In the meantime, I would like to thank my subscribers who watched my channel carefully. We are planning better pictures and more offline events and training. I look forward to your continued support. See you again, thank you.
