WRITERS: Forget Every rule!

you know when you're trying to get an agent I think for me I speak for me you always try to do your grammar right or we try to glue your structure right you kind of want to write the route that you learned and it works and it doesn't at some point you know I think what you feel is what is what remains I think that I was reading you know decent screen page with maybe a little true from your like and when I wrote with iMovie I kind of went with some kind of rage and I forgot the grammar and I forgot everything that's forgot every rule and to me to me I had written something that was a little bit of a mess and I think that's when you do that that becomes interesting because you leave everything you've learned behind it's kind of like when you speak you don't think about what people are you don't think my grammar and if you think too much about it and you kind of lose your identity and you kind of lose who you are for me it was kind of the same thing and my writing since then had become much more intuitive as opposed to okay well I'm gonna write the first fact I'm gonna have a bigger face 19 and then mid point eight which as base 60 and and it's pinch or whatever and I stopped doing that completely I stopped doing that but pity and when I stopped doing that I found that people were responding to my stories much more thanks for checking out this clip from the selling your screenplay podcast you'd like to hear the full interview just go to selling your screenplay calm slash podcasts or to go directly to the episode just use the link in the show notes thanks for watching
