WRITING MOTIVATION: WHO WILL BE NEXT?

to begin to begin how to start I'm hungry I should get coffee Co if you would help me think I should write something first then reward myself with coffee coffee and a muffin okay so I need to establish the themes maybe banana nut that's a good muffin my job is to plumb the depths so to speak dredge up something from inside something honest I gotta tell you the life of the mind there's no road map for that territory I'm exploring it can be painful of pain most people don't know anything about the suburbs that makes me smile tis a fiction designed to entertain Shirley's mother changes house writing a book is a horrible exhausting struggle one would never undertake such a thing the one we're not driven by some demon I just because you're a real man and I could tell you some stories sure you could and yet many writers do everything in their power to insulate themselves from the common man from where they live from where they trade from where they fight and love conversing what always found that writing comes from a great inner pain maybe it's a pain that comes from a realization that one must do something for one's fellow man to help somehow anyway done good work as possible we all fear death and question our place in the universe the artists job is not to succumb to despair but to find an antidote for the emptiness of existence you have a clear and lively voice don't be such a defeatist writers are competitive you too self effacing it's not manly if you're a writer declare yourself the best writer but you're not as long as I'm around unless you want put the gloves on settle it it's just like getting a ring Dell horn see what you're made of start throwing some punches for what you believe in punch the keys for God's sake there's nothing to write in go on all they do is sit down at your typewriter and bleed start typing nine sometimes a simple resume typing gets us from page one to page two it overwhelms I literally cannot sleep or eat all I want to do is fight and you make us laugh can you make us cry can you make us wanna break out enjoy yourself you said yourself riding brunch silence yeah well what I write about anything whatever brings you a memory a place I head down it's always really absorbed me about life is what's happening on the outside action now that that was something to be shared sitting in the rain flow rate whoops well that estates exactly how much you know about writing books trying to shoot something beautiful you can't have a protagonist without desire it doesn't make any sense any sense we have an opportunity now to forge something real based on a few simple truths from Shakespeare Scott Fitzgerald silicon beach when to speak thank God it's Ernest Hemmingway you like my point writings like mash God gets matter you don't show up you

I'm planning on writing a 234 page short book. I just got finished reading a book a few days ago and taking good details about the exposition, inciting incident, rising action, etc. How many pages each had and come up with my own story. I wrote two short stories in high school and a poem. They didn't have plot but this story will.

I found this video either some time last year or the year before that, I can’t truly remember since I’ve watched it more times than I can count and it’s done wonders. There’s something about this video, seeing the writers we so admire struggling and telling us it’s all about sitting down and DOING the work, the music, the touch of insanity in every scene, that makes one filled with the energy to explore all the vast areas of their own imagination at 2 am. Every time I need that boost in motivation, I come and watch this, thank you so much for making this❤️

Your writing is a living, breathing thing. It is a Masterpiece waiting for the world to stare at it with awe and wonder. It is waiting for you stare at it with awe and wonder. Now go tell your writing you love it. I'm not kidding. Do it.
See how much better you feel and how much easier it is to move forward?

Once you write enough to find your own voice, not the voice people tell you to write with but one that is authentically your own it gets exponentially easier. Keep punching the keys.

I think writing has been my best cure, it is a blesssing that I can write every day, it is also a burden that I have to write every day.
But it always makes me feel like making progress every day after enriching my mind and sorting out a little bit more of the truth about humanity.
